Every home has many windows, for the most part, and how you dress the window can affect the style and mood of the room, not to mention the functionality. Blinds are by far one of the most popular window dressings, they are usually a cheaper option and tend to flow better with most room décor. However, when choosing blinds, there are so many options in that category alone. The biggest thing to consider is which type will serve the room’s needs the best, whether they should be vertical or horizontal, vinyl or wood, there are so many different options. Style and function also come into play here, wood may work well with the room’s décor, but they may not hold up as well in damp areas (or another example is that vinyl blinds do not hold up as well against the environment and may not be the best choice for families with young kids).
